Star beat Aggie Saturday and Sunday to take 2 more points
getting her championship. Aggie then beat Star on
Monday to get her first point. Since we were both showing we only have a

Cornwall show for the Sunday
and Monday September 6th and 7th
We entered Jazz and Brownie. Zayle's
Handler brought him out and Ben Ruck brought Thor of the Baskerville
line for this show. So we had great competition. On Sunday Zayle took
breed and Jazz Best of Opposite and on Monday Thor took the breed and
Jazz the best of opposite. Brownie had decided that she did not want to
go around the ring but only wanted to exit - she was absolutely great
before entering the ring and we had practiced in an empty ring - but
come show time she did not want to cooperate. She stacked beautifully
and the judge told us that she is a beautiful dog but that she must do
her job in the ring. Dave will show her next time and we hope she will
do her job for him - she seems to start to pout when it is time to show.
Jazz has a ball in the ring as do the other dogs.
Jazz now has first 2 points.
Stormont Dundas
Glengarry show on Sunday August 30th
We had Jazz, Brownie and Bobbi-Lynn brought Zayle out for this show -
there were
suppose to be another male and female showing but they were absent.
Zayle took Best of Breed and Brownie took Winners Bitch and Best of
Opposite Sex. Jazz did a great job for her first show. Bobbi-Lynn took a
bunch of photos, thanks Bobbi-Lynn.
Brownie is apricot brindle and Jazz is apricot. Brownie has her first point.
Limestone Show, Kingston
Ontario, July 26th, 2009

Our daughter showed a very well behaved Siberian Husky named
"Hershay" in junior handling, the junior novice
division, and
won her class. Megan and Hershay attended the finals for
junior handling just before the Show of Shows.
This was her first
time showing and she was very excited with her win. We want to thank
the owners of Hershay, Dean and Colleen of
SiberTrott Siberians for lending their dog to make our daughter look so
good in the ring. Our mastiffs are still a little too big for her
to handle. The junior handling experience is an awesome well supported
one for all of the kids, we were quite impressed and will
definitely cheer our daughter on to continue.

Cornwall District Kennel Club Show August 31 and September 1,
2008.
Well, Harry beat Dragon
both days we entered to take the Best of Breed and earn his first 2
points.
Dragon was off this weekend because he would have rather been breeding
with our girl at home that was in heat.
Stormont, Dundas, & Glengarry Dog Association Show August 23 and
24th,
2008.
Dragon won Best of Breed
August 23rd and Best of Opposite August 24th. There were 4 Mastiffs
shown so he
adds 2 points for Saturday and 1 point for Sunday
to his total to make it 9 now out of 10 for his championship.
Kars Community Recreation Association Dog Show July 19th and 20th, 2008.
Dragon won Best of
Breed both days. Only 6 of the dogs were shown each day so
Dragon receives
three points towards his championship from each day giving him his first
points. It is great to have
some
competition to be able to get some points
when winning Best of Breed. Our thanks to judges Barbara Beland and Joe
Tacker
for
choosing Dragon as the Best of Breed.

| Dragon in the ring first for breed then
for group, July 19th, 2008. If you look closely at the ground
in photo number 5 you will see that this site was extremely wet and muddy for both
dog and owner. Hay was put down in the rings but this made it slippery.
The city changed the location of the show ring which was not a
good idea as there is no drainage in this area. The dogs probably enjoyed the wet ground as it was
extremely hot out - but this was not a good thing for those with
white dogs and light clothing. Many owners were carrying around
their light colored dogs so that they would not get all muddy.
Of course none of these were Mastiff owners and we all know why.
The placement of the ring has been changed for future shows. |

10 dogs entered only 9 shown. Dragon took Reserve Winner Male but did
not get any points for this. Dozer was shown as a Special on Sunday July
28th. Dozer and Dragon did not place on Sunday.
Kingston Show and Specialty July 28th, 2007.
In Kingston, Ontario. Dozer did not place - he was moved up to specials for these shows.
Dragon took Reserve Winner Male and best Puppy aged 12 - 18 months.
Dragon does not get any points for this but caught many an eye and beat
some dogs that were larger and older. We are very proud of Dragon - keep
an eye on him in the upcoming shows.
Ottawa Kennel Club Show, Richmond, Ontario,
May 26th & 27th, 2007.
Dozer took the Best of Breed May 26th and May 27th and is now
one point shy of his
Canadian Championship. We had previously thought that Dozer had obtained
his championship this weekend but he had only received two points for
his Group 4th placement so he still needs one more.
Dragon won Best Puppy in Breed and Reserve Winner May
27th at his first show and received his first point.
